I offer coaching services across many different areas. My primary focus is on helping my clients to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. Below I have listed some specialist areas I work in but please do contact me for an informal chat if you think I might be able to help you as well.
Health and wellbeing
As a Health Psychologist and Health Coach, I am trained in behaviour change techniques and can help you to work towards your health goals, whatever they may be. Whether you wish to change your diet and/or exercise regime, lose weight, reduce the amount of alcohol you drink, stop smoking, or improve your sleeping habits, I can help.
Women's hormonal health
I am passionate about working with women who are living with long-term hormonal conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) or Endometriosis; and with women who are experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms. Living well with PCOS and Endometriosis is a realistic goal, and thriving through perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms is entirely possible with careful management of diet and exercise.
Workplace performance and wellbeing
I have published extensively in the area of workplace wellbeing and can help you to manage effectively with the demands of work, and to understand how to maintain your wellbeing outside of work. I can also help you perform at your best, whether that be to tackle work-based procrastination, to manage your performance anxiety, or to develop a plan for career progression.
Living with chronic, long-term conditions can be challenging and requires adjustment psychologically and physically. This can be very stressful and difficult. I can help you understand the link between physical and mental health and develop effective coping skills to live well with your condition, whether it be cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, PCOS, Endometriosis, or one of many others.
Change and uncertainty
Uncertainty and change are natural and unavoidable parts of life. Never has that been more evident than it is now as we all try to cope with the uncertainty the COVID-19 virus has imposed. You may have suddenly become sick, lost your job, or you may be anxious about when the pandemic will end or if life will return to normal. I can help you manage your thoughts and feelings, and develop realistic and achievable goals for the future.
